About CAPIT Reading: A Linguistic Phonics (Sound-to-Print) Curriculum

CAPIT Reading uses the Sound-to-Print method (Linguistic Phonics). It teaches reading starting from the speech sounds children already know, not from letters.

CAPIT Reading is validated by Johns Hopkins University School of Education and has an ESSA Tier 2 evidence rating. In 2026, CAPIT won the Language & Literacy Award at the Global EdTech Startups Awards at Bett UK for innovation in language and literacy instruction.
