Support This Work
Your gift brings the joy of reading to children who need it most. With your support, we provide proven literacy instruction that helps young learners read with confidence, discover a love of books, and unlock a lifetime of knowledge. Every donation helps a child turn the page toward a brighter future.
SPARK Literacy Foundation is a California nonprofit corporation, incorporated in June 2026, and a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Gifts to SPARK are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Adopt a School
Every adoption funds teacher training, support, and implementation coaching for a school's kindergarten-through-sixth-grade classrooms. Every adopter is matched to a school. As schools join the initiative, you can choose yours, or we'll assign you one, and you'll hear what the teachers are teaching and what the children are learning.
Support Our Mission
Your gift helps a child learn to read. SPARK Literacy Foundation brings Sound-to-Print (Linguistic Phonics) instruction to schools that could not otherwise afford it. In the U.S., our grants pay for the teacher training, and the curriculum is donated by Capit Learning. Seven in ten students struggle to read. Together we can change that.
